We offer Traditional Boerekos (Traditional SA cuisine) from Die Veld Restaurant.

 

New! The Lapa can also be booked for private functions and there is no charge for the hire of the venue for bookings of 10 or more guests that we provide catering for. Live Entertainment can also be arranged for parties as required.

A minimum of 10 people per menu item and a 50% deposit is required. There is also a cash bar available.

 

The Veld Restaurant is not Halaal or Kosher, but we do respect each and everyone.

The idea is to enjoy the day, be comfortable in what you do and eat.

The food is always the thing one remembers best of all, therefore it is very important for us to give you the absolute best in quality.

All our meats are bought from Fairfield which is a Halaal butchery. Our grids are cleaned with hot water and soap. Our salads are fresh and the greek salad gets here 20 mins before you eat. We only serve pork on our breakfast menu.

 

The venue fee for our conference facilities is R1000 for the day and includes the sound and equipment. We have a white screen used for the projector and music if you require. There is a well stocked cash bar avalable with great indoor and outdoor seating as well as braai facilities. There are two venue areas avalable for hire, the smaller lapa areas do permit you to bring your own refreshments but the lager lapa area next to the bar has to be cash bar only. We ask a corkage fee on any alcohol brought into the main lapa. The prices on corkage are on request and may vary depending on the size of your group.

 

Please be advised to book well in advance to avoid any disapointments. A 50% deposit is asked on lage groups/Corporate bookings, this deposit secures your booking date. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable unless arranged otherwise with Melkbos 4x4. All group total/amounts have to be confirmed 48 hours before the booking, as we will cancel your booking date without a confirmed group amount. If you change the amount of people attending the function within this 48 hour period you will be charged accordingly.
